There are many different versions of many different free photo editing software. However, for as many free ones there are ones that give you the ability to purchase. In this section of the site, I will be listing what I think are the easiest to use / most widely supported / give the best result programs.

Firstly, "The Gimp" is a perfect free photograph editing software as well as many filters to offer it can create some 3-d graphics, or just plain 2-d images such as computer wallpapers, or other consoles that have the ability to have a custom wallpaper. It also has a widely supported "brush" function to give your graphics a different view. You are able to download brushes from here. You are able to download the program from here. Secondly, "Photofiltre" is a great application for re-touching badly taken photographs, or, creating very basic web graphics. Unfortunately, the program can not offer advanced features such as brushing. You are able to download the program by clicking here.
